ABOUT ME

I am a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in public relations and minor in fashion merchandising.

I have grown my passion for public relations through a few different opportunities that introduced me to my now major. I worked as an intern for The Outdoor Lights during my junior year of high school and had full control of their social media platforms as well as helped to plan some of their events. During my third and fourth year at UGA, I served on my sorority’s council as the Vice President of Events and Programming, planning and putting together philanthropic and social events for groups of 600 plus people.

Once I realized my passion for the PR world and event planning, I began internship searching. I had the absolute pleasure of being an intern at Foundation NYC, a public relations agency, during the summer of 2023.

During the spring of 2023, I co-founded a non-profit called Walk for Liza, an event held in Athens, Georgia that raises money for the Liza and Edie Burke Foundation. Additionally, I acted as the event planner for this event, and we raised over $17,000 in our first year.

I was a member of Order of Omega at UGA, which recognizes the top 5% of GPA's in greek affiliation. I also participated in a student run PR agency known as Talking Dog Agency as a public relations specialist. Lastly, I was involved with PRSSA as an active member.

I hope to continue expanding my knowledge of public relations and turn these skills into a career in my post college years.
